Christina Thomas, LGPC

Christina is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. She graduated with her masters in Counseling Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and from there she has worked in the field of developmental disabilities (e.g Autism, intellectual disability, developmental delays).
Christina’s experience working in the field of disabilities and with the neurodivergent population, has allowed her to work with individuals of all ages helping them meet and overcome life’s challenges. Christina believes in meeting her clients were they are and providing a non judgmental space to process life’s many ups and downs. She views the therapeutic process as a collaborative approach which enables the client to be in the driver seat of their own lives.
Christina specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and navigating the day to day concerns of life. Christina’s approach is existential-humanistic-spiritual, which allows clients to dive deep and explore aspects of themselves that may be blocking them from making progress and moving forward in life in a direction that is deserved and desired.
In addition, Christina incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness, as well as Psycho-education to help clients achieve their goals and have a well rounded understanding of their experiences.
