    Many of our clinicians specialize in children, adolescents, and families. A few of our clinicians are trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT and specialize in trauma. We also have therapist with specializations in substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders.

    Kay has been practicing therapy for over 10 years. She has a strong background in addiction medicine and codependency. She has extensive experience working with individuals from all backgrounds and she is non-judgmental and accepting of all human beings. She brings an eclectic approach of utilizing theory when practicing therapy. Some of the therapeutic modalities Kay utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Techniques, Trauma Informed Care, Stages of Change Theory and Motivational Interviewing.

    Jamia is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others, especially children, through focusing on empowerment and actions, to help improve the overall quality of life of those she encounters. Through strengths-based approaches, Jamia implements Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Holistic Therapy, Spiritual Therapy, Meditation Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Jamia is trained in Life Skills, Psychosocial Assessments, National Human Trafficking Prevention, Child Abuse Prevention, Mental Health First Aid, Abridged Psychological First Aid for Children and Youth, and Racial Equity Impact Analysis.

    Paulette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland who enjoys working with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds, Paulette has significant training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Grief and Loss, and Trauma Informed Care. Paulette is a creative, strength-based clinical who enjoys incorporating social-emotional learning skills into her work. She also incorporates mindfulness practices, and coping strategies into her work.

    Cara is the owner and one of the psychotherapist at Divine Counseling LLC. Cara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Maryland and Virginia and also the District of Columbia. Cara has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), & Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). She is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist- Trainer (CAMS II) & Nationally Certified Parenting Instructor for court-ordered individuals requiring training in either of these areas.

    Ololade also known as Lola, is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Maryland and New York. She has a passion of working with adolescents and adults ages 15 years and older. She earned a bachelor of science degree in Psychology from Covenant University in Nigeria and a master of social work degree from New York University. "Feeling like a square peg in a round hole is not an uncommon feeling, but finding a safe space to be truly and fully you ; can be difficult. My passion as a clinician is to always create a space that fosters unedited self-expression."

    Christina is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. Her experience working in the field of disabilities and with the neurodivergent population has allowed her towork with individuals of all ages helping them meet and overcome life’s challenges. She believes in meeting her clients were they are and providing a non judgmental space to process life’s many ups and downs. She views the therapeutic process as a collaborative approach which enables the client to be in the driver seat of their own lives.

Valerie approaches her work with a holistic lens that’s works to integrate the whole person’s experience and makes space for the exploration of interpersonal and intergenerational dynamics and their impact on one’s mental health. Valerie believes that every person has a wealth of knowledge and experiences to bring into their healing space and to flourish from.     Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has experience for over 28years providing therapy to individuals impacted with substance use, depression, and. other mental health issues. Kathleen has been able to help clients in the past reach their goals and live a more fulfilling life. Kathleen is looking forward to helping her clients take a new path of health and freedom, from their problems to continuing growing. She has helped clients in the past move forward out of their life's challenges, and is dedicated and looking forward to helping you "reach your highest self".
